Please Support HR 646, The Federal Acupuncture Coverage Act
There is a bill that is waiting to be passed that would be greatly beneficial acupuncturist and health care clients. The Federal Acupuncture Coverage Act of 2009 will allow acupuncture to be covered by a person's health insurance, instead of having to pay out of pocket. This current bill is starting with Medicare first and all Federal Employees under their Health Insurance. When this bill does passes, with time other health insurances will follow covering acupuncture treatment, opening up yet another modality of healing to the general population.
